Kontrast Project

Kontrast Project is run by the Norwegian Kine Homelien. Her interests in development, sustainability, and design led her to start Kontrast Project in the aftermath of the earthquake in Nepal, April 2015.

As Kine had lived in Nepal, her network and Nepalese friends helped her in creating a small clothing production located in the hillside of Katmandu.

Today, Kontrast Project designs and sells clothing made out of the sustainable material, hemp, using natural dyes.
